4. Ja Saul sanoi aseenkantajallensa: "Paljasta miekkasi ja lävistä sillä minut, etteivät nuo ympärileikkaamattomat tulisi pitämään minua pilkkanaan". Mutta hänen aseenkantajansa ei tahtonut, sillä hän pelkäsi kovin. Niin Saul itse otti miekan ja heittäytyi siihen.
