6. Ja Semaja, Netanelin poika, kirjuri, joka oli Leevin sukua, kirjoitti heidät muistiin kuninkaan, päämiesten, pappi Saadokin ja Ahimelekin, Ebjatarin pojan, sekä pappien ja leeviläisten perhekuntien päämiesten läsnäollessa. Yksi perhekunta otettiin vuorotellen Eleasarin ja Iitamarin suvusta.
