7. Silloin Israelin kuningas kutsui kaikki maan vanhimmat ja sanoi: "Ymmärtäkää ja nähkää, että hän hankkii meille onnettomuutta; sillä kun hän lähetti vaatimaan minulta vaimojani ja lapsiani, hopeatani ja kultaani, en minä niitä häneltä kieltänyt".
