1. Ja Herra sanoi Samuelille: "Kuinka kauan sinä suret Saulia? Minähän olen hyljännyt hänet, niin ettei hän enää saa olla Israelin kuninkaana. Täytä sarvesi öljyllä ja mene; minä lähetän sinut beetlehemiläisen Iisain luo, sillä hänen pojistansa minä olen katsonut itselleni kuninkaan."
