9. Sitten hän etsi Ahasjaa; ja tämä saatiin kiinni Samariassa, jossa hän piileskeli. Niin hänet vietiin Jeehun eteen ja surmattiin. Ja he hautasivat hänet, sillä he sanoivat: "Hän on Joosafatin poika, hänen, joka kaikesta sydämestänsä etsi Herraa". Eikä Ahasjan perheessä ollut ketään, joka olisi kyennyt hallitsemaan.
