8. Leeviläiset ja koko Juuda tekivät kaiken, mitä pappi Joojada oli käskenyt heidän tehdä. Kukin heistä otti miehensä, sekä ne, joiden oli mentävä vartionpitoon sapattina, että ne, jotka pääsivät vartionpidosta sapattina, sillä pappi Joojada ei ollut vapauttanut osastoja palveluksesta.
