8. Hän toi pois kaikki papit Juudan kaupungeista ja saastutti uhrikukkulat, joilla papit olivat polttaneet uhreja, Gebasta Beersebaan asti. Ja hän kukisti porteilla olevat uhrikukkulat, joita oli kaupungin päällikön Joosuan portin oven edustalla, vasemmalla puolella mentäessä sisään kaupungin portista.
