12. Niin Hasael sanoi: "Minkätähden herrani itkee?" Hän vastasi: "Sentähden, että minä tiedän, kuinka paljon pahaa sinä olet tekevä israelilaisille: sinä pistät heidän varustetut kaupunkinsa tuleen, sinä surmaat miekalla heidän valiomiehensä, sinä murskaat heidän pienet lapsensa ja halkaiset heidän raskaat vaimonsa".
