12. Ja Daavid käski nuorten miesten surmata heidät. Niin he hakkasivat poikki heidän kätensä ja jalkansa ja hirttivät heidät Hebronin lammikon rannalle. Mutta Iisbosetin pään he ottivat ja hautasivat sen Abnerin hautaan Hebroniin.
