12. Älkää siis antako tyttäriänne heidän pojillensa älkääkä ottako heidän tyttäriänsä pojillenne vaimoiksi. Älkää myös koskaan harrastako heidän menestystään ja onneansa, että te vahvistuisitte ja saisitte syödä parasta, mitä maassa on, ja jättäisitte sen perinnöksi lapsillenne ikuisiksi ajoiksi.'
