8. Mutta nyt on meille hetkiseksi tullut armo Herralta, meidän Jumalaltamme, koska hän on sallinut pelastuneen joukon meistä jäädä jäljelle ja antanut meille jalansijan pyhässä paikassansa, että hän, meidän Jumalamme, valaisisi meidän silmämme ja soisi meidän hiukan hengähtää orjuudessamme.
