Silloin päämiehet sanoivat kuninkaalle: "Tämä mies on kuolemalla rangaistava, sillä hän herpaisee niiden sotamiesten kädet, jotka ovat jäljellä tässä kaupungissa, ja kaiken kansan kädet, kun hän heille puhuu tällaisia sanoja. Sillä ei tämä mies etsi tämän kansan menestystä, vaan onnettomuutta."
