4. Sidkia kapinoi Baabelin kuningasta vastaan. Hänen yhdeksäntenä hallitusvuotenaan, sen kymmenennessä kuussa, kuukauden kymmenentenä päivänä, hyökkäsi Nebukadressar, Baabelin kuningas, koko sotajoukollaan Jerusalemin kimppuun; ja he asettuivat leiriin sitä vastaan ja rakensivat saartovarusteet sitä vastaan yltympäri.
