1. Matkalaulu. Kun Herra käänsi Siionin kohtalon, niin me olimme kuin unta näkeväiset.
  
2. Silloin oli meidän suumme naurua täynnä, ja kielemme riemua täynnä; silloin sanottiin pakanain keskuudessa: "Herra on tehnyt suuria heitä kohtaan".
  
3. Niin, Herra on tehnyt suuria meitä kohtaan; siitä me iloitsemme.
  
4. Herra, käännä meidän kohtalomme, niinkuin sadepurot Etelämaassa.
  
5. Jotka kyynelin kylvävät, ne riemuiten leikkaavat.
  
6. He menevät itkien, kun kylvösiemenen vievät; he palajavat riemuiten, kun lyhteensä tuovat.
