1. Koorahilaisten virsi, laulu. Pyhille vuorille perustamaansa kaupunkia,
  
2. Siionin portteja, Herra rakastaa enemmän kuin Jaakobin kaikkia muita asuinsijoja.
  
3. On kunniakasta, mitä sinusta sanotaan, sinä Jumalan kaupunki: -Sela. -
  
4. "Minä mainitsen tunnustajikseni Rahabin ja Baabelin; katso, Filisteasta, Tyyrosta ja Etiopiasta minä mainitsen: Sekin on syntynyt siellä."
  
5. Mutta Siionista sanotaan: "Joka-ainoa on syntynyt siellä". Sitä Korkein itse vahvana pitää.
  
6. Herra luettelee, kirjoittaessaan kirjaan kansat: "Tämäkin on syntynyt siellä". Sela.
  
7. Veisaten, karkeloiden sanotaan: "Kaikki minun lähteeni ovat sinussa".
