42. Ja Jonatan sanoi Davidille: mene rauhaan, (ja muista) mitä me olemme vannoneet yhteen Herran nimeen ja sanoneet: Herra olkoon sinun ja minun vaiheellani, minun ja sinun siemenes vaiheella ijankaikkisesti! (H20:43) Ja hän nousi ja meni matkaansa; mutta Jonatan palasi kaupunkiin.
