34. Vaan pappeja oli vähimmäksi, niin ettei he voineet ottaa pois vuotia kaikilta polttouhreilta, sentähden auttivat heitä heidän veljensä Leviläiset, siihenasti että työ täytettiin ja niin kauvan kuin papit pyhittivät itsiänsä; sillä Leviläiset olivat vireämmät pyhittämässä itsiänsä kuin papit.
