13. Ja Haman jutteli emännällensä Serekselle ja kaikille ystävillensä kaikki, mitä hänelle tapahtunut oli. Niin sanoivat hänen viisaansa ja hänen emäntänsä Seres hänelle: Jos Mordekai on Juudalaisten siemenestä, jonka edessä sinä olet ruvennut lankeemaan, niin et sinä voi mitään häntä vastaan, vaan sinun täytyy peräti hänen edessänsä langeta.
