31. Mutta että valmistuspäivä oli, ja ei ruumiit pitänyt ristissä oleman sabbatina, (sillä se sabbatin päivä oli suuri,) rukoilivat siis Juudalaiset Pilatusta, että heidän sääriluunsa piti rikottaman ja he otettaman alas.
