16. Kuin Herodes näki itsensä tietäjiltä vietellyksi, vihastui hän sangen kovin, ja lähetti tappamaan kaikki poikalapset Betlehemissä ja kaikissa sen äärissä, jotka kaksivuotiset olivat taikka nuoremmat, sen ajan jälkeen, jonka hän oli tarkasti tietäjiltä tutkinut.
