5. Sillä meidän ruumiimme on niinkuin veljeimmekin ruumis ja meidän lapsemme niinkuin heidänkin lapsensa; mutta katso, me heitämme poikamme ja tyttäremme orjuuteen, ja jo parhaallansa ovat muutamat meidän tyttäristämme sorretut, ja ei ole voimaa meidän käsissämme; meidän peltomme ja viinamäkemme ovat joutuneet muille.
