6. Ja Daavid joutui suureen hätään, sillä kansa aikoi kivittää hänet: niin katkeroitunut oli koko kansa, kukin poikiensa ja tyttäriensä tähden. Mutta Daavid rohkaisi mielensä Herrassa, Jumalassansa.
