13. Kun Haaman kertoi vaimollensa Serekselle ja kaikille ystävilleen kaiken, mitä hänelle oli tapahtunut, sanoivat hänelle hänen viisaansa ja hänen vaimonsa Seres: "Jos Mordokai, jonka edessä olet alkanut kaatua, on syntyjään juutalainen, et sinä voi hänelle mitään, vaan kaadut hänen eteensä maahan asti".
