1. Matkalaulu; Daavidin virsi. Minä iloitsin, kun minulle sanottiin: "Menkäämme Herran huoneeseen".
  
2. Meidän jalkamme saavat seisoa sinun porteissasi, Jerusalem;
  
3. sinä Jerusalem, rakennettu kaupungiksi, johon kokoonnutaan yhteen,
  
4. jonne sukukunnat vaeltavat, Herran sukukunnat, niinkuin Israelille on säädetty, kiittämään Herran nimeä.
  
5. Sillä siellä ovat tuomioistuimet, Daavidin huoneen istuimet.
  
6. Toivottakaa rauhaa Jerusalemille, menestykööt ne, jotka sinua rakastavat.
  
7. Rauha olkoon sinun muuriesi sisällä, olkoon onni sinun linnoissasi.
  
8. Veljieni ja ystävieni tähden minä sanon: olkoon sinulla rauha.
  
9. Herran, meidän Jumalamme, huoneen tähden minä tahdon etsiä sinun parastasi.
