23. Mais sa femme lui répondit: Si l'Éternel eût voulu nous faire mourir, il n'eût pas pris de notre main l'holocauste et l'offrande, et il ne nous eût point fait voir toutes ces choses-là, et, au temps où nous sommes, il ne nous eût pas fait entendre les choses que nous avons entendues.
