17. Et il fit monter contre eux le roi des Chaldéens, et tua leurs jeunes hommes par l'épée dans la maison de leur sanctuaire; et il n'eut pas compassion du jeune homme, ni de la vierge, ni de l'ancien, ni du vieillard: il les livra tous entre ses mains.
