Et ils rejetèrent ses statuts, et son alliance qu'il avait faite avec leurs pères, et ses témoignages qu'il leur avait donnés, et ils marchèrent après la vanité, et agirent vainement, et en suivant les nations qui étaient autour d'eux, touchant lesquelles l'Éternel leur avait commandé de ne pas faire comme elles.
