31. Les Juifs donc, afin que les corps ne demeurassent pas sur la croix en un jour de sabbat, puisque c'était la Préparation (car le jour de ce sabbat-là était grand), firent à Pilate la demande qu'on leur rompît les jambes, et qu'on les ôtât.
