29. Puis il fit pendre le Roi de Haï à une potence, jusqu'au temps du soir : et comme le soleil se couchait, Josué fit commandement, qu'on descendît de la potence son corps mort, lequel on jeta à l'entrée de la porte de la ville, et on dressa sur lui un grand amas de pierres, [qui y est demeuré] jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
