17. Et David dit à Dieu: N'est-ce pas moi qui ai ordonné le dénombrement du peuple? C'est moi qui ai péché et qui ai fait le mal; mais ces brebis, qu'ont-elles fait? Eternel, mon Dieu, que ta main soit donc sur moi et sur la maison de mon père, et qu'elle ne fasse point une plaie parmi ton peuple!
