4. Αυτος δε υπηγεν εις την ερημον μιας ημερας οδον, και ηλθε και εκαθησεν υπο τινα αρκευθον· και επεθυμησε καθ' εαυτον να αποθανη και ειπεν, Αρκει· τωρα, Κυριε, λαβε την ψυχην μου· διοτι δεν ειμαι εγω καλητερος των πατερων μου.
