Ο δε Σολομων ειπε, Συ εκαμες μεγα ελεος προς τον δουλον σου Δαβιδ τον πατερα μου, επειδη περιεπατησεν ενωπιον σου εν αληθεια και εν δικαιοσυνη και εν ευθυτητι καρδιας μετα σου· και εφυλαξας εις αυτον το μεγα τουτο ελεος και εδωκας εις αυτον υιον καθημενον επι του θρονου αυτου, καθως την ημεραν ταυτην·
