16. Αφ' ης ημερας εξηγαγον τον λαον μου τον Ισραηλ εξ Αιγυπτου, δεν εξελεξα απο πασων των φυλων του Ισραηλ ουδεμιαν πολιν δια να οικοδομηθη οικος, ωστε να ηναι το ονομα μου εκει· αλλ' εξελεξα τον Δαβιδ, δια να ηναι επι τον λαον μου Ισραηλ.
