40. Και ελαβε την ραβδον αυτου εν τη χειρι αυτου, και εξελεξεν εις εαυτον πεντε λιθους ομαλους εκ του χειμαρρου, και θεσας αυτους εις το ποιμενικον αυτου σακκιον και θυλακιον, την δε σφενδονην αυτου εις την χειρα αυτου, επλησιαζε προς τον Φιλισταιον.
