8. Παρωξυνθη δε σφοδρα ο Σαουλ, και εφανη δυσαρεστος εις τους οφθαλμους αυτου ο λογος ουτος, και ειπεν, Απεδωκαν εις τον Δαβιδ τας μυριαδας, εις εμε δε απεδωκαν τας χιλιαδας· και τι λειπεται πλεον εις αυτον παρα η βασιλεια;
