25. Αφου δε ανεχωρησαν απ' αυτου, αφησαντες αυτον εν αρρωστιαις μεγαλαις, συνωμοσαν εναντιον αυτου οι δουλοι αυτου δια το αιμα των υιων Ιωδαε του ιερεως, και εθανατωσαν αυτον επι της κλινης αυτου, και απεθανε· και εθαψαν αυτον εν πολει Δαβιδ, δεν εθαψαν ομως αυτον εν τοις ταφοις των βασιλεων.
