8. εστω Κυριος ο Θεος σου ευλογημενος, οστις ευηρεστηθη εις σε, δια να σε θεση επι του θρονου αυτου, να ησαι βασιλευς εις Κυριον τον Θεον σου· επειδη ο Θεος σου ηγαπησε τον Ισραηλ, ωστε να στερεωση αυτους εις τον αιωνα, δια τουτο σε κατεστησε βασιλεα επ' αυτους, δια να καμνης κρισιν και δικαιοσυνην.
