6. Ομως τα τεκνα των φονευτων δεν εθανατωσε· κατα το γεγραμμενον εν τω βιβλιω του νομου του Μωυσεως, οπου προσεταξεν ο Κυριος, λεγων, Οι πατερες δεν θελουσι θανατονεσθαι δια τα τεκνα, ουδε τα τεκνα θελουσι θανατονεσθαι δια τους πατερας, αλλ' εκαστος θελει θανατονεσθαι δια το εαυτου αμαρτημα.
