4. εαν ειπωμεν, να εισελθωμεν εις την πολιν, η πεινα ειναι εν τη πολει, και θελομεν αποθανει εκει· εαν δε καθημεθα εδω, παλιν θελομεν αποθανει· τωρα λοιπον ελθετε, και ας πεσωμεν εις το στρατοπεδον των Συριων· εαν αφησωσιν ημας ζωντας, θελομεν ζησει. και εαν θανατωσωσιν ημας, θελομεν αποθανει.
