16. Και διεσχισαν οι τρεις ισχυροι το στρατοπεδον των Φιλισταιων και ηντλησαν υδωρ εκ του φρεατος της Βηθλεεμ, του εν τη πυλη, και λαβοντες εφεραν προς τον Δαβιδ· δεν ηθελησεν ομως να πιη, αλλ' εκαμεν αυτο σπονδην εις τον Κυριον·
