12. Τοτε απεστειλεν ο Αβενηρ μηνυτας προς τον Δαβιδ απο μερους αυτου, λεγων, Τινος ειναι η γη; λεγων προσετι, Καμε συνθηκην μετ' εμου, και ιδου, η χειρ μου θελει εισθαι μετα σου, ωστε να φερω υπο την εξουσιαν σου παντα τον Ισραηλ.
