8. Και εφερον την κεφαλην του Ις-βοσθε προς τον Δαβιδ εις Χεβρων και ειπον προς τον βασιλεα, Ιδου, η κεφαλη του Ις-βοσθε, υιου του Σαουλ του εχθρου σου, οστις εζητει την ζωην σου· και ο Κυριος εδωκεν εκδικησιν εις τον κυριον μου τον βασιλεα την ημεραν ταυτην, απο του Σαουλ και απο του σπερματος αυτου.
