23. Οτε δε το αντιγραφον της επιστολης του βασιλεως Αρταξερξου ανεγνωσθη ενωπιον του Ρεουμ και Σαμψαι του γραμματεως και των συνεταιρων αυτων, ανεβησαν μετα σπουδης εις Ιερουσαλημ προς τους Ιουδαιους, και επαυσαν αυτους εν βια και μετα δυναμεως.
