1. Δεν θελει εισθαι ομως τοιουτον θαμβωμα εις την γην την τεθλιμμενην· εν τοις προτεροις καιροις εξουθενωσε την γην Ζαβουλων και την γην Νεφθαλειμ· εν δε τοις υστεροις εκαμεν ενδοξα τα μερη τα προς την οδον της θαλασσης, περαν του Ιορδανου, την Γαλιλαιαν των εθνων.
