2. Και προσηυχηθη προς τον Κυριον και ειπεν, Ω Κυριε, δεν ητο ουτος ο λογος μου, ενω ετι ημην εν τη πατριδι μου; δια τουτο προελαβον να φυγω εις Θαρσεις· διοτι εγνωριζον οτι συ εισαι Θεος ελεημων και οικτιρμων, μακροθυμος και πολυελεος και μετανοων δια το κακον.
