6. Και οι Γαβαωνιται απεστειλαν προς τον Ιησουν εις το στρατοπεδον εις Γαλγαλα, λεγοντες, Μη αποσυρης την χειρα σου απο των δουλων σου· αναβα προς ημας ταχεως και σωσον ημας και βοηθησον ημας· διοτι συνηχθησαν εναντιον ημων παντες οι βασιλεις των Αμορραιων, οι κατοικουντες την ορεινην.
