Ιησού του Ναυή 3.16
16. εσταθησαν τα υδατα τα καταβαινοντα ανωθεν και υψωθησαν εις ενα σωρον πολυ μακραν, απο της πολεως Αδαμ, ητις ειναι εις τα πλαγια της Ζαρεταν· τα δε καταβαινοντα κατω προς την θαλασσαν της πεδιαδος, την αλμυραν θαλασσαν, αποκοπεντα εξελιπον· και ο λαος επερασε κατεναντι της Ιεριχω.
