9. ο δε ταχεως προχειρισαμενος νικανορα τον του πατροκλου των πρωτων φιλων απεστειλεν υποταξας παμφυλων εθνη ουκ ελαττους των δισμυριων το συμπαν της ιουδαιας εξαραι γενος συνεστησεν δε αυτω και γοργιαν ανδρα στρατηγον και εν πολεμικαις χρειαις πειραν εχοντα
