1. και ηκουσαν οι υιοι ισραηλ οι κατοικουντες εν τη ιουδαια παντα οσα εποιησεν ολοφερνης τοις εθνεσιν ο αρχιστρατηγος ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεως ασσυριων και ον τροπον εσκυλευσεν παντα τα ιερα αυτων και εδωκεν αυτα εις αφανισμον
