16. Τοτε ο Νρωδης, επειδη ειδε οτι εμπαιχτηκε απο τους μαγους, θυμωσε πολυ και απεστειλε και σκοτωσε ολα τα αρσενικα παιδια που ηταν στη Βηθλεεμ και σε ολα τα ορια της, οσα ηταν απο δυο ετων και κατω, συμφωνα με το χρονο που εξακριβωσε απο τους μαγους.
